Great Barrier Reef – Australia

No trip to Cairns is complete without visiting the Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest coral reef system. It’s made up of 3000 coral reefs, 600 continental islands, and 300 coral cays.

We book a day cruise to be in the barrier itself and have a close up to its magnificence beauty. And we weren’t disappointed. Over the day we did several new and amazing activities for the first time like scuba dive, snorkeling in a coral reef and be on a helicopter flying over it.

Our experience with The Great Barrier Reef was much of a closer look than we expected, at a moment I thought that I would crash my belly against the coral while snorkeling. We were wondered with the coloring scene underwater, full of colorful fish and incredible vivid coral gardens.
