East Coast and Port Arthur – Tasmania

After visiting Launceston, we head to Tomahawk in the north of Tasmania, we had a beautiful sunrise that day on the beach, yes the sun rise is on the beach there!

Later we keep our on the road trip to Tasmania’s east coast, we stoped in Scottsdale for our morning coffee, very helpful when you drive from 6 am. And we keep driving towards the east coast.

Our first stop in the east coast of Tasmania was Bicheno, we visited the Blowhole of Bicheno and then we decided to have lunch there.

After lunch we drive to Coles Bay, in there we stop in a couple of lookout points where you can get the best views in the place, to take a nice photo and rest a little bit, we stopped in the national park, in a very sunny and hot day, the walks were between 3 hours and 6, so we just stoped there to have some refreshment in the company of a Wallabie.

After our wildlife time we head south to Triabunna, the beach view was amazing!  and then we keep driving to Dunalley where we stoped for one night.

In the next morning to finish our road trip we head down to Port Arthur, a historic site, the place was full of old style houses and churches. Located at the south of Tasmania this place is almost an island, which facilitates the controlled access, they closed this site to keep the history of the place.
